Cr1000a vs cr1000b
Are there any known MoCA compatibility issues between the CR1000B and older routers/gateways? I’m looking to buy a used G3100, CR1000A, or maybe CR1000B for the AP. I’ve watched a YouTube some someone posted for doing wired AP over Ethernet with the G3100. I assume the CR1000B can work just fine over MoCA, but want to be sure. Thanks all.They are inherently flawed and do not give advertised speeds (CR1000A straight up barely works and gives 1/20th the upload speeds and G3100 has inferior wired uploads to G1100). The G1100 works incredibly well by comparison. As soon as the G1100 was installed, my upload speeds went up by an order of magnitude.

The G3100 and the newer CR1000A both seem to have numerous issues in some situations. Several have gone back to their old G1100s after trying one of the newer ones. If your old G1100 works without any issues, go with it. You can try the CR1000A and see if you like it better. If so, great!
