The main goal with going faster on these bikes is to add RPM, reduce mass (if possible - most are already rather light to begin with), add power, and change gear/drive ratio.

Turns out the governor gear jammed the engine up. Took the gear out, re assembled and it runs great now! It revs a ton higher without the governor and I get a ton more power. Great bike just ran into some unlikely failures. Highly recommend the Coleman ct100.
