I have a 2015 Ranger 570 FS and I have experienced surging at low speeds since the day I got it new. One thing that I know contributes to it, on mine anyway, is the clutch, especially when cold. I am going to check if it has a spacer in the primary to see if I can get a little more out of it. I also have a 2013 ranger mid 800 and it tops out at 58mph@6500rpm. FYI the spacer for the midsize is in the secondary.
