Sep 8, 2019 · Have a 2007 F150 w/ 4.2L V6 and a little over 40K miles. ABS light used to come on occasionally, now it is on all the time and the brake light is on, too! Have recently gone on a couple of road trips from Central Florida to Dallas and back. Truck loaded on return trips. Without taking to the shop, offhand it looks like it might be the ABS module. Something that goes unseen by my viewers is all the little 5-10 minute projects I do on my truck after work. Pull the parking brake release and with your foot push the pedal up so it sits firmly in the release position. If the light goes out your cable is stretched and needs adjustment and or replacement.
