Just gotta have your tracking number & a ID to receive it, and the location you pick can hold it for 7 days. just go to FedEx's website for instructions. As far as I know now, with the exception of the smallest and least populated parts of the country, every FedEx hub now runs 7 days a week.

I didn't think it would happen to me (foolishly), but my Steam Deck was ... the tracking number this AM and noticed the status had been changed from "delayed" to "Shipment exception" so I called Fedex. Turns out, my package can't be delivered because "it is an empty box, there are no contents." ….

kissell791. • 1 yr. ago. Generally yes. But that also causes fuckery on their end, and imo thats gonna get you a bigger chance of it getting lost. What you do is, once you get a tracking number, you can go to their site and change the shipping stuff. You should be able to select hold at fed ex facility for pickup. It's poor strategy that reeks of "We are not confident in our product enough to go into mass production", and if you care about the future of the Deck, or a potential Deck V2, you should wish upon a star that they market it to non-steam users, otherwise it's gonna go the same way as the Steam Controller, except the Deck didn't deserve that.

Today the Steam Deck box was delivered completely empty and it wasn't even a clean cut on the tape.
