It's not that. I've had a weird eggy/fish smell come out of some dabs that I bought (Legal dispensary in NV) a while back but that was trim run so that would explain it. I've never had any funky flavor come out of anything live resin, which is my go to, so that's strange. Sounds like poorly done CRC. The only time I've experienced that burnt popcorn/sulfur taste is from very shitty shit crc wax. Typically a sugary consistency, almost white/very light yellow, smells like vick's vapor rub.There is a way to purify it and remove the sukfur compounds. Pour some ever clear in a dish, put you wax in the everclear and stir to dissolve the wax. Next place some clean copper (pre 1982 pennies are copper) in the dish. Over the next couple hours you will see the copper oxidize and turn green.
