So Kubota now recommends that you use UDT or Super UDT2 in your L2800 HST 2010/2011. There is no truth about Super UDT2 being created for the BX. Philip.It's not the same stuff. Premium UDT is a conventional base low-viscosity hydraulic oil made by Shell Canada for Kubota. The specs are more like ATF than hydraulic oil. Gravity degree is 29.3, pour point is claimed -57°C and viscosity @100°C is 7.1 cSt. SUDT2 is a synthetic or perhaps semi-syn fluid made for Kubota by Valvoline.

Not certain SUDT2 is full synthetic. Kind of remember reading years ago that it was a semi-synthetic fluid. This fluid is tinted orange which would make it easier to see on the dipstick or if it is leaking. According to the MSDS sheets on Kubota website it looks like Ashland is still making the fluid.
